Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project (SERCAP) - US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Rural Community Development Grant
KA personnel were pleased to support the Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project (SERCAP) in securing a five-year $5,5781,250 US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Rural Community Development grant that will provide long-term and short-term water and wastewater system technical assistance and training to rural, low-income communities with populations less than 2,500 and in which at least 20 percent of the total population lives below the poverty line. SERCAP assistance will be targeted for water, wastewater, environmental, housing and economic issues in the non-profit’s seven-state area of Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
