Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project - 2020 US EPA Environmental Justice Community Collaborative Problem-Solving Cooperative (EJCPS) Agreement Program

KA personnel were pleased to provide grant writing and consulting support for the Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project’s (SERCAP) 2020 grant award of $120,000. SERCAP will use EPA EJCPS grant funds to improve the potable water quality, living conditions and the overall health of residents in Virginia’s Eastern shore who rely on domestic water wells and septic systems. The project will target residential properties that have contaminated well water, failing septic systems and homes in need of repair and offer education, environmental media testing, and financing programs.
